Hello, friends! New week, new week in review. I wanted to share some tidbits from my life last week as well as an accompanying photo recap with selections from my Instagram feed with you. Here’s the buzz:
I spent the first half of the week in Ohio visiting the company that is helping me with my rebranding journey. I traveled through Ohio many times as a child when we used to drive from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Oak Park, Illinois to visit my grandparents, but I’ve never actually stayed there. Although I didn’t have much time to explore, Ohio seems like a beautiful place! I can imagine how lovely it is especially in the spring and fall with all of the trees. My trip was a lot of fun for me and it was great to spend time with the super creative team I’ve hired in their amazing office space. I’ll share more about them and my whole rebranding journey when the new site launches this summer.
The rest of my week felt like a mad dash to catch up with my work and get my house in order in time to prep for Easter. Last week I talked about how noticing and appreciating the little things and small moments makes time slow down for me, especially when I’m feeling like I’m scrambling. Some of my favorite little things/small moments from the past week include:
❤︎ The paint-like clouds on a bright, sunny morning walk with Winnie.
❤︎ Noticing hearts everywhere on Friday (like the one left from clay mask residue in my sink).
❤︎ Homemade potato pancakes cooling on a paper bag at my in-laws’ house.
This past weekend was extra special with the holiday, which we are so fortunate to spend with both sides of the family. I look forward to the Easter celebration every year, because it means sharing amazing homemade food with my loved ones. The gorgeous, balmy weather made the day even sweeter! A hot bath and some naughty treats (peeps are my weakness) was the perfect way to cap off an awesome week.
I vlogged on Easter Sunday if you’d like to see more (actually, a whole lot more with this super long vlog) about how I spent the holiday with my family:
I’d love to hear about how you spent Easter, if you celebrate, or one of your favorite little things/small moments from the past week. I hope the sun is shining wherever you are!
