Utah Shopping Haul: Spring 2014

I’ve done a bit of shopping while I am out here in Utah and I thought I would share my finds with you.  I picked up some clothing items as well as beauty supplies to leave at our family vacation home here.

OJ_TBBB_05-15-2014_01Tanger Outlets in Park City – My favorite place to pick up great clothes at reduced prices for my Utah wardobe.  I couldn’t provide links for most of the items since they are available in store at the outlet shops only.

✻ Banana Republic Open Cardigan – I’ve been on the hunt for a long white open cardigan to leave out here and while I was unsuccessful in that particular search, I did find this lovely cream one.  It has a nice length and a weight that would be good for a range of temperatures.

✻ Gap Tank – This linen-style white tank will be the perfect breezy top on a hot summer’s day in the mountains!  I love the embroidered accent.

✻ Eddie Bauer Tank – Another lightweight option with cute button details at the neckline and a lovely blue design print.

Eddie Bauer Rainfoil Jacket – I was super excited to grab this find for an extra 40% off in store! A practically identical jacket (linked) retails for $99 and I got mine for just under $54!  It’s a great rain jacket in a beautiful light blue.

Sephora at City Creek Center in Salt Lake City – This is such a lovely indoor/outdoor mall with some of my most favorite shops, including Sephora where I like to stock up on beauty supplies.

✻ Shiseido Facial Cotton – These are my favorite face cottons for removing eye makeup and applying toner.  Warning – they are pricey and once you try them you might never want to go back to the less expensive option.  That’s what happened to me!

✻ Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens – These blotting papers are an absolute necessity to help control my oily skin throughout the day.  I like to keep one in my vanity and one in my purse.

✻ Lancȏme Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover – A staple in my beauty routine, this eye makeup remover is the best I’ve ever tried!

✻ Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner – My favorite liquid eye liner pen with a super fine tip for precise application.  I love the dark brown for a more natural looks.

✻ Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder – I mentioned my love for Benefit’s Powderflage in my April Beauty Buzz post.  Sadly, they no longer make it and I wanted something similar to have at the house in Utah, so I decided to pick up Laura Mercier’s version, which is said to be a very similar formula.

✻ Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Concealer – I purchased a lighter shade of this concealer a little more than a month ago and love it so much I decided to get the next shade darker (#4 Glow).  I plan on bringing this concealer home with me.

✻ Sephora Collection Pro Flawless Airbrush #56 – Yet another product I was buzzing about last month, after a bit of a hesitation I decided to splurge and grab one of these for my brush collection at the Utah house.  It truly is the perfect brush to pair with my current favorite It Cosmetics CC Cream.

✻ GlamGlow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment – I got this 100-point perk bonus item for free using my Sephora Beauty Insider points.  I’ve been enjoying the GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment I picked up in my Spring Beauty Haul earlier last month and am excited to try out this deluxe sample of the Tinglexfoliate.

Formula X Nail Polish – I spend quite a bit of money at Sephora over the course of a year and with this recent purchase have extended my Rouge status until next year.  As a special thank you, Sephora gifted me with this beautiful red polish which is an exclusive VIB Rouge perk.

If you’d like a closer look and hear more on my thoughts, I share my new finds in the video below:

I always have fun shopping with my family and friends when we’re out in Utah for a visit.  There’s something extra fun about shopping when you’re out of town!  Do you have any special stores or shopping centers you like to visit when you go out of town?  Leave a comment if you care to share 🙂

  2. You can store your liner in a ziploc bag or tupperware type container when you leave. That should help with dry-out. Love the raincoat.

  5. You know. I don’t know if you like Black House White Market or whatever it is called but I was walking by the other day and thought of you. They had some patterns and prints that looked like some items you have purchased lately and they appeared to be blue or dark blue. Not black. I did not go inside so I don’t know more. Just the window display caught my attn.
