  1. Jen, I’m 17 and I look up to you so much!!!! I hope I can be as organized as you when I have my own house/family to take care of!!! Do you think you could do a video for how to stay organized in college? I think I remember you saying that you’ve always been organized, and I definitely could use some help for my freshman year away from home.

    Thank you!
    Laura

    1. It’s been a LOOONG time since I was in college now LOL. The way I stayed on top of schoolwork was to keep constant with a planner and do my assignments as soon as I got them instead of waiting until the last minute.

  2. I have been loving my Kiehl’s products I just received this month! Amazing products especially The Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream OH MY best BB cream ever for my dry skin … makes your skin look flawless and you don’t feel like you’re wearing any makeup 🙂 SPF is 50 LOVE IT <3

  3. Hi Jen! I’d love to tell you of a few of my new favorites from last month. My new go-to foundation is by Smashbox. It’s the Studio Skin 15 hr wear foundation. I have breakouts and red pigmentation, and this one covers them better than Revlon ColorStay foundation, and lasts all day. And this past month, I also was fortunate to pick up my very first YSL lipstick in #7. It’s a lovely baby doll pink.

    As always, thanks for sharing!

  4. Thank u for showing us all those lovely goodies. Love seeing and learning about all the different things out in the world 🙂

  5. Welcome back! We all missed you but it looks like your time away was worth it… lovely trip, TFS the amazing views! I’ve always seen beach and desert as equally grounding… all that expansive majesty!
Also thank you for such a generous give-away, this trio is on my Sephora wish-list but I’m determined to work down my stash of finishing powders first. I did pick up the dim infusion and etheral glow ambient light blushes and LOVE LOVE LOVE them both… pretty much the only blushes I’ve used in well over a month! You will adore dim infusion… I am very fair so the lighter shades work best for me, but luminous flush is the one I have my eye on after my (tinest bit!) of summer color kicks in…. I need a beach trip to speed things up! Oh well, the pool will have to do for now! 🙂

  6. Som me of my May favs are It cosmetics Bye Bye Redness, Bare Minerals Bare Skin foundation, Clinque Stay Matte foundation, and Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush in Radiant Magenta. I also recently purchased a few new Makeup Geek eyeshadows and they are AMAZING! Rockstar is a new shade that is like a silver purple shade. Ah, I can’t get enough! Thanks for all of your great recommendations! I love watching your monthly favorites videos.

  7. Hi Jen!

I enjoy watching your vlogs and I was wondering if you would share the brands and types of sunscreen you use. I am asking because I have oily skin like you and I am on the hunt for a good facial sunscreen to use by the pool this summer.

    Thanks!

  8. Benefit has a speed brow that is clear that you will love. However, my daughters went to the Brow Bar at Ulta to get their eyebrows done and they said that they will never go anywhere else again. They loved how they shaped and trimmed their brows and they didn’t get broken out around their eyebrows like they have when getting their brows waxed at our hairdressers. They also bought the new Benefit Gimme Brow gel and LOVE it so much more than any pencils or waxes or powders they’ve tried.

  9. Hi Jen,

    and welcome back. 🙂

My skin is oily and I’ve been using Sisley “Phyto – Teint Eclat Foundation” in Honey for a couple of years. It has very sheer coverage, but for warm (soon to come) summer months it is sufficient. This one is a bit on a pricey side, but worth every single Euro. For everything else face related I’m total “Too Faced” junkie, Snow Bunny being my favorite bronzer, and i’m totally obsessed with their lip products too. But my favorite May product would be M.A.C. 163 Flat Contour Brush, I just love it. 🙂

I would just like to ask you if you changed your make-up organization and if you did, would you be so kind to share it on OLJ channel ( I hope i’m not too nosy and that this didn’t came out the wrong way).

    Best regards from Germany. 🙂

  10. I was really loving my Mac 188 brush for applying blush I usually use it highligher.

I have been wanting to try a body scrub since my skin has been so dry lately, I’m going to try the tree nUT scrub…thanks for recommendation.

  11. Started following/watching your vlogs a couple months ago. Fell in love with the container store because of you

  12. Hi Jen!

I have been loving the IT Cosmetics CC Cream as of lately. Have you checked it out? If not you should. It’s a great alternative to foundation for the summer, but offers just as great of coverage. Plus it has SPF 50 in it, which is great for these warmer months!

I’m also loving the Chocolate Soleil bronzer and Melted lip products by Too Faced. 🙂

  13. In May I went back in time to a product from my junior high days–a St. Ives facial scrub. I have very thin, sensitive skin, so I usually avoid harsh abrasives. However, I was traveling and wanted something that would give a deeper clean and this was the only travel sized item I could find at the store. I’ve actually had good results–my face feels amazingly clean when I use it, some of my milia cysts appear smaller (the largest one actually went away), and it hasn’t made me break out like so many other products.

      1. After I posted that comment I watched one of your videos in which you showed it! Kind of a funny little story–the other day I was watching one of your videos. When I finished, I came out to the room where my husband was to find him watching one of Don’s videos. 🙂

  14. Recently, my favorites have been the Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream. I’ve never used a B.B. cream before, so this was an adventure, but I’m enjoying it! I’ve also picked up a few NYX products lately — I love their butter gloss. Plus, the Tarte products from the LE PopSugar box are new favorites!
