Hi beauties! I’m having so much fun playing with the beauty products I hauled recently. Summer is the perfect time to try out new colors! In this post I share my favorite beauty products from the past month, including makeup, nail polish, fragrance, and some skincare products.
Makeup
✻ Shiseido Pureness Oil-Control Blotting Paper – What would I do without blotting paper? I just don’t know! It’s the perfect quick fix for oily skin and helps keep my shine under control.
✻ Dior Diorskin Nude BB Cream in #3 Medium & It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream in Medium – I’ve loved both of these products individually for awhile, but now I am enjoying combining them for the perfect summer face base makeup. I use one pump of each for lightweight, medium coverage.
✻ Sephora Pro Flawless Airbrush #56 – My current favorite brush for applying the aforementioned face products. This brush does with trick without swallowing up so much of the product in the bristles.
✻ Too Faced Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer – I finally have enough color on my face to pull off this bronzer. It has a beautiful, subtle sheen to it that adds dimension. Word to the wise: a little goes a long way!
✻ Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush & Dim Infusion – I know I talked about these blushes last month, but I had to mention them again because I am obsessed! Both shades offer a stunning glow. I use Dim Infusion more for everyday looks and Luminous Flush for evenings out.
✻ Too Faced A La Mode Eyes – This has been my go-to palette for the last month. I decided to pick it up since I love the Natural Eyes palette so much. This one is the perfect summer compliment! I love how soft and blendable the shadows are.
✻ Sigma Highlight Duo in Bring To Light – As much as I love the Too Faced palette, it doesn’t come with a matte highlight shade, which I like to use in combination with shimmery lid colors. I love using this gorgeous soft peachy nude duo from Sigma for my brow highlight.
✻ Be A Bombshell Lash Out Mascara – I received this mascara in my June Ipsy bag. I was skeptical at first, because it doesn’t indicate whether or not it’s water resistant and I generally prefer those formulas to avoid smudging and fallout. This mascara works perfectly! My favorite thing about it is that it doesn’t clump. Huzzah!
✻ Tarte Lipsurgence Power Pigment in Tipsy – I love Tarte beauty products, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw this lip crayon in my PopSugar Must Have Special Edition Summer Box. This beautiful coral pink shade is perfect for summer and pairs beautifully with a wide range of gloss shades.
✻ Buxom Full-Bodied Lip Gloss in Sweet Thing – I’ve been into more raspberry tones lately for a fun pop of color. This hot pink gloss fits the bill!
✻ Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Nicole – I’ve been a big fan of the Full-On lip polishes for years now. This strawberry-hued beauty packs a punch with lots of shimmer!
✻ Bite Beauty Lush Lip Tint in Orchard – I just realized I talked about this lip tint in my May Beauty Buzz, as well. That’s how much I like it! It’s the perfect pop of color with a moisturizing, balm-like formula.
Fragrance & Nails
✻ Smell Bent St Tropez Dispenser Eau de Parfum – Yet another repeat offender, this perfume is my absolute obsession this summer! It is the quintessential summer scent to me with “notes of jasmine, fresh coconut, aloe vera and vintage musk.” I can’t get enough of it!
✻ Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Nail Polish in Pool Boy – I’ve been painting my nails quite a bit lately with fun summery shades. Out of all of those beauties, this polish stands out as my favorite. Yet another PopSugar Must Have Box acquisition, this gorgeous bright blue paints like a dream and is so vibrant on the nail. You can see it on my nails here if you’d like.

Skincare
✻ Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar – I’ve been struggling with acne over the past year and while most of the time I do my best to not let it bother me, every once in awhile I get frustrated by it. I’m only human, right? Well, I was feeling particularly fed up one day a few months ago and turned to YouTube for some new skincare ideas. That’s when I stumbled across BYoonique and her target=”_blank”>video about apple cider vinegar. I’ve gone through phases of taking it internally before, but never thought to use it on my skin. Currently I do both and feel like it’s really helping to clear up my breakouts faster. It’s important to use the organic, raw, and unfiltered vinegar, because it contains the most beneficial properties. I drink one tablespoon of vinegar diluted in eight ounces of water every morning. It’s not only good for the skin, but also helps with digestion as well.
✻ Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin – I follow Yoon’s advice and combine equal parts apple cider vinegar and rosewater & glycerin to make my own toner, which I use both morning and night. It’s important to shake this up well before each use. The combination doesn’t smell terrific, although I find the scent dissipates after a few moments. I feel like this toner is really helping to balance my skin! I also like to use the rosewater & glycerin spray on its own for a quick skin pick-me-up.
✻ Bioderma Crealine TS H20 Micelle Solution – I’ve used Bioderma as a secondary makeup remover for awhile now, but only recently started using it as my primary makeup remover when I ran out of my favorite face wipes a few weeks ago. I actually prefer this now to my beloved wipes! It removes my makeup effectively and leaves my skin feeling clean without any residue.
