You can enter by following the directions in the Rafflecopter widget posted below.   I decided to create a poll as the entry for this giveaway asking you to chose from three spring eye looks you’ve enjoyed this spring.  I will try to compile the poll results once the giveaway has ended and post them here for all who are interested.  I’ll announce the two winners of the giveaway on THIS blog post and contact them directly, as always.  Good luck!

*** GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED ***

Congrats to Jo B. & Abby D. on being selected as the winners of my April Polish Picks Giveaway!

The Spring Makeup Poll Results for *What eyeshadow look have you been enjoying this spring?* out of 1284 entries:

55% Neutrals | 36% Pinks and/or Purples | 8% Blues and/or Greens

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I’m still deciding if I am going to be using my blog and Rafflecopter for all giveaways from now on instead of the usual video comment giveaway.  I prefer this way because it seems more fair (no spamming comments) and it’s easier for me to keep track of.  It’s possible I’ll occasionally host a video comment giveaway, but I’m leaning towards for Rafflecopter/Blog route for the time being.

Sometimes Rafflecopter experiences technical difficulties.  If you can’t enter for some reason, try again later and it will probably work.

*This is not a sponsored giveaway.  I am not affiliated with any of the brands mentioned.  All prizes were purchased by me.*

  1. Jen,
You look very beautiful in this Current Look video. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. 🙂

  2. Hi Jen,

Thanks for the giveaway. The colors are fabulous, and your Spring look is beautiful and refreshing.

I watched your Mother’s Day errand video and I could really relate, because I operate the same way. I had to learn to tone it down a bit (no pun intended). However, I know it’s a personality thing and just part of how I function, so I had to make it work for me instead of against me. Yes, I do write out a schedule but, mainly focus on what “needs” to get done. Everything else can cross over to the next day if need be and that’s okay. I’m happier and my anxiety is better for it. I’ve also stopped trying to please everyone. Your loyal subs will be there no matter what and yes, we love seeing videos every day, but, I often worry about what it’s taking for you to get those out. Your marriage, sweet pup, family and you are what’s most important, so put them first. We love you and will be here no matter when you post. Luv you lots.

  3. I really have to say thank you. You’re definitely one of the most giving people on YouTube. Not a lot of people do a free giveaway once a week like you do. I think just saying THANK YOU is the least we can do. I hope you’re having a nice day. In Pittsburgh, it’s about fifty degrees today…bleh!

  4. went to see the musical “wicked” for my 30th birthday last year in london, itwas truely breathtaking, amazing, well worth seeing ladies x

    1. I wish they made a movie version of Wicked instead of this Great and Powerful Oz…it seemed they have made changes to the story just to make it more appealing.
Wicked is sooo amazing! I wish I could see it live and not only listening to the music on cd… 🙁

      1. Jen great look, when I saw this pallette first I thought that Glinda was mainly for blondes but it fits you so well that I am gonna think to this pallette again (I am brunette as you)!

  5. I tend to agree that doing the giveaway on your blog is probably easier and you can keep track of it more easily.
Loving your makeup looks and am going to try your eyeshadow layering techniques:)

  7. I am loving mua undress me too which is a cheap UK brand and apparently a great dupe of the UD naked 2 pallette which is rather pricey!!x

  8. Thanks for the great giveaway. I’m really tentative with using colour, I often stick to neutrals but would like to begin venturing into the world of colour a little more! Loved the vid 🙂 xx

  9. Hi Jen!
I have brown eyes like you and Have been just trying to use up shadows of different brands. I have found that I like the browns and purples on my eyes the most. Sure would love some new make-up!

  11. As the weather warms up I find myself going for lighter formulas. So I’ll use my Bare minerals makeup more. Having said that I bought a lovely makeup kit from Mally on qvc which has a lovely lilac eyeshadow and a coordinating purple eyeliner.

  12. I have not had the chance to see the movie OZ yet, but I really love the look that the Genda Palette that it inspired!

  13. Hello Jen!
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Daniela, I am 29 years old, I’m from Mexico but I live in Phoenix Arizona. I have been married to a wonderful guy for 4 years now and we have a beautiful English bulldog named Bella.
I follow all of your channels and I could see myself being your friend! I have so much fun watching your videos. I am not organized at all but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy your videos!!!! I love following you around and I look forward to get home and enjoy my youtube time. You are such a good time and I do get all of your jokes lol!!!! You know, I cried when you finished your first half marathon, why? i have no idea but I did…. I was so proud of you!!! Don, what can I say? He is just as adorable as you are and I love his morning hair! Baby W? She is soooooo cute!!!

I hope you get the chance to read this message and know that you have a friend in Arizona!!!

    Take care!!!

    Daniela

  14. I enjoy all of your makeup tutorials. You have makeup applications that are reasonable for the “girl next door” look. Some of the other Youtube ladies have makeup looks that are way too dramatic for me. Keep the videos coming. Thanks!

  15. I really loved this look,I also have brown eyes and love using purples…I’ve been loving my naked palettes lately but I just got a ‘build your own palette’ from Inglot(lovely eyeshadows they are super pigmented and beautiufl!) as a birthday gift and you’ve inspired me to fill it with purples!xx

  16. My go-to shadows are in the Urban Decay Naked palette! During the spring and summer, I definitely gravitate more towards the softer shades! Half baked is my favorite!

  17. Awesome video as usual, Jen! Honestly, I like the Rafflecopter entry system over comment entry for the same reasoning. Keep up the fabulous work! xoxo

  18. wow!! you’re spoiling us with all those awesome giveaways Jen! thank you
my favorite eyeshadow for the spring is Emerald Green Pigment by Mac that look perfect on my dark eyes; it just has the perfect pop to celebrate spring

  19. Hi Jen!!! Just watched you use the gorgeous pink/purples so pretty!!!! Why do people put light colors in the inside corner of eyes- does that make the eyes pop more? Love your videos 🙂

    1. Kari,

*Helpful Hint: Not only can light colors in the inside corner of eyes be used to brighten the eye, it is also good for people with close-set eyes. Keeping colors light along the inside (tear-duct area, &/or up to brow) gives the illusion that the eyes are wider apart.

Conversely, people with wide-set eyes can put a medium to dark(ish) shade on the inner corner (& up to the inner brow area) to give the illusion their eyes aren’t so far apart (the darker, the more dramatic & intense, so use a light hand & start with a medium tone, as it can look harsh if too dark).

It’s easy if you use the light/dark theory… where light brings forward & looks larger and dark recedes & looks smaller (think dark wash versus white jeans). It just all happens on the three-dimensional canvas of your face!

Notice Jen’s tip of putting a light shadow on the center of her eye lid. This is a great “attention getter” when every time she blinks, our eye goes to the center of her eye & therefore we focus our attention on the iris portion of her eyes after every blink. I love this trick for people to notice pretty eyes instead of just pretty make-up!

      Have fun experimenting & playing!

  20. Hello, Jen! How are you?
I’m from Brazil and I’ve never written anything to you before, but I always watch your videos.
The way you share you life with us is so nice and fun, I love it!
Plus, you’re so calm and pure that listening to you even relaxes me.
I also love the fact that you’re a Disney addict just like myself! lol
Well, that’s it. Now you know you have a big fan here in Brazil.
    Wish you the best.
    xoxo

  21. Thanks for your generosity, Jen. Not only the generosity of all your wonderful giveaways but most especially your generosity of self. You give so openly & freely to us, sharing so much of your life, your thoughts, ideas, organizing techniques, family, etc. I just want you to always know it is greatly appreciated… whether it’s daily vlogs or weekly uploads or just once a month… they are all an unexpected gift & delight. Thank you!

  22. Jen,
You are such an inspiration for me. I am a traditional office goer but we seem to share similar work ethics at a basic level. I love your organizing tips and thanks to you I cured myself out of what I would call a depressing period by organizing my home office. I love my corner and I think of you and bless you each time I use it. Your videos have inspired me to start experimenting with makeup at 40 as well.
    Cheers
    Vandy
