PopSugar Must Have Update – February 2014

The February PopSugar Must Have box is one of my favorites that I’ve received so far.  It is jam-packed full of awesome goodies!  If you’re unfamiliar, PopSugar Must Have is a monthly subscription service where you receive a selection of full size and premium beauty, fashion, home, and fitness items for $39.95 per month (this includes shipping and is available in the US only).

The theme for the February box centers around love, which is a common theme for the month that Valentine’s Day happens to fall in.  PopSugar places the emphasis of this month’s box on self-love by proclaiming that February is “the perfect opportunity to sit back and treat yourself well.”

OJ_TBBB_02-18-2014_02What’s in my February box?

✻  NCLA Nail Polish in Rodeo Drive Royalty – PopSugar included nail wraps (stickers)from NCLA in the December box, which was the first time I had heard of this company.  I am excited to try out this deep burgundy shade!

ModelCo Lip Pops Duo Lip Gloss and Lipstick – This innovative packaging includes a lipstick and lipgloss all in one convenient tube.  I love it!  The shades are perfect for me, including the mauve-toned lipstick and almost clear shimmery gloss.  If I like the formula, this could become one of my lip staples!  I couldn’t find this item sold individually online, only in a set of three with the ModelCo LashXtend Lengthening mascara that also came in my December box (which I enjoyed).

✻ Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash – A 16 ounce (!) bottle of this new body wash from Dial was included as a Special Extra.  It has a fresh and fruity scent.  It claims to be moisturizing  with a lotion-infused formula and Vitamin B.  I was surprised that I was unable to find this for sale online.  It’s not even listed on Dial’s website!  Perhaps it is a brand new product they’re testing out?

Nourish Organic Pure Hydrating Argan Face Serum – I’ve seen this brand at Whole Foods, but never tried out their skincare line before (I do believe I’ve had a sample of their body lotion in a past Ipsy or Birchbox).  I love face serums and have a couple of Origins ones I use both day and night to great effect.  I am interested to see how I like this organic apricot and rosehip formula.

Sugarwish Mini Red Cinnamon Hearts – Now that I’ve had a chance to peruse their website, I think their concept is even cuter than I first thought!  How it works is first you pick out an eCard to send to the recipient you’d like to receive a Sugarwish.  Then, you pick out a size (1, 2, or 4 pounds of candy) and Sugarwish sends the eCard to your recipient, allowing them to pick out the candy they’d like given the size you paid for and have it delivered to a mailing address of their choosing.  How sweet!  PopSugar included a “Mini” box with Cinnamon Hearts (not my personal favorite, but cute all the same for February), which is another option available for corporate orders or party favors.  Love this!

K Hall Designs Peony Travel Candle – I was delighted by this cute candle at first whiff.  I love peonies and peony-scented products!  It smells just like the real deal and ready for travel in a cute tin.  They claim this little candle has a 20 hour burn time.  I plan to put that to the test!  I had never heard of K Hall products before.  One of the main reasons I love my PopSugar Must Have subscription is that I get to try new and different products I might never cross paths with otherwise.

Gorjana Brooks Jewelry Roll – What a beautiful jewelry roll!  Yet another brand I’ve never heard of, but am very happy to know about now.  This lightweight, compact design is perfect for keeping jewelry tangle-free during travel.  I love that they also included a $25 voucher for a purchase from their website, as well.

Check out the coordinating video to hear about my favorites from last month’s selections and see my reactions as I open this month’s box:

As I mention in the video, I decided it would be fun to pass on the goodies from previous boxes that don’t necessarily suit my personal needs or style to others who would truly enjoy them.  The February PopSugar Extras Giveaway will run until Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 6 PM CT.  The giveaway is open internationally.  All entrants under the age of 18 must have parental permission to enter.  One person will win the Jack & Lucy Tech Gloves and Revlon by Marchesa Box O’ Files pictured below:

  1. Hi Jen!
It’s so sweet of you to do giveaways with the products you’re not using! 🙂
Are you still doing open-box videos for EcoEmi? Those were hands down my favorite 😀
I love your hair in this video, btw 🙂

    1. I’ve actually discontinued my Eco Emi subscription since I picked up the Knit Crate instead. I don’t like to have more than a few subscriptions at a time. I still think the Eco Emi box is great, but I’d subscribed for over two and a half years and wanted to try something new.

  2. Hi Jen, thanks for the review and the giveaway. Do you still sub to Birchbox, Ipsy, Julep and FCS and if so, which ones do you enjoy the most?

    1. Currently I subscribe to Ipsy, PopSugar Must Have, Julep Maven, FCS Soap Box and Knit Crate. My two faves are the latter two 🙂

  3. Hi Jen,

I love your videos! When I came across this video I thought to myself, “that’s something I would like too” So I went ahead and signed up. Thank you for sharing everything you do. I am so excite and really looking forward to receiving my March must have box!
