I can’t believe this is the last Mommy Favorites post of Charlotte’s first year. It’s amazing how fast this year has flown by! Today I’m sharing some of my mama picks from 10 to 12 months, including CC’s current favorites toys, a few cold weather must have accessories for us, and the best snack container.

❊ The Original Toy Company Pop-Up School Bus – We received this wooden school bus toy as a thoughtful gift from our neighbors and it’s quickly turned into one of CC’s favorites. The little wood stick kids pop up when you push down on them. CC figured this out right away. It provides endless entertainment! The stick kids are also great for gumming on while cutting those first molars!
❊ Tomy Hide N Squeak Eggs – Another gift (we have great neighbors!) was this plastic cartoon of eggs. The shells pop off to reveal different colored eggs underneath. They squeak when pushed on. The bottom of each egg is a specific shape that fits into the bottom of the crate. It’s a versatile toy that can span several developmental stages and I think it will be a favorite for many months to come.
❊ Green Toys Stacking Cups – Stacking cups are a baby toy staple in our home! They’re great for stacking, knocking down (CC’s favorite), clanging together, even bath time fun. They’re still one of the first toys CC reaches for after months of favorite status.
❊ Columbia Kids Foxy Baby II Bunting – This fleece bunting has come in so handy already with winter’s early showing here in the midwest. It is super soft and cozy. I love that the feet and hands fold over for extra protection. It’s big enough to fit over CC’s outfits without being too bulky to wear in her car seat. We get compliments on it every time we’re out thanks to the bright color and cute bear ears on the hood.
❊ Freshly Picked Moccasins – I know lots of mommy bloggers rave about these and with good reason: they actually stay on baby’s feet (which is saying something)! Despite this, they’re somehow easy for mama to get on and off which is great, especially if you have a baby like mine that always points her toes and curls her feet whenever any sock or shoe comes near. The leather is soft and durable and the shiny platinum provides a welcome distraction during car rides.
❊ Ugg Bixbee Booties – As much as I love the moccasins, it’s getting really cold here (sub zero wind chills already a few times this month!) so I decided to pick up something warmer for our daily outings. I wish they made these deliciously soft and cozy booties in my size. They’re the ultimate baby slipper! The velcro makes for an easy on and off but CC has yet to successfully pull them off herself. Win win!
❊ Munchkin Click Lock Deluxe Snack Catcher – CC is all about Cheerios these days and I think one of the main attractions is this snack cup which we keep them in. It’s a snack holding device and baby toy all in one! I bought the lidless version a few months back, which she loved as well, but I didn’t like how easily the snacks just poured out. When I learned they made a version with a lid I was all for it. The design of the reach-in flaps makes it a fun interactive snacking experience for baby while preventing all of the food from spilling out. Genius!
I talk about each item in more detail in this video:
I hope you enjoyed this look at my top picks for my eleven month old. I think this is the last dedicated monthly post I’m going to do on mommy favorites, From here on out, I plan on mentioning a few things in my monthly lifestyle favorites and perhaps doing a dedicated post every six months or whatever makes the most sense down the road. Thank you for following along this year as I navigate mamahood! I would love to know what some of your Mommy favorites are if you care to share.
