I had such a good time spending the month of August out at the Utah house with the family! I’m excited to share some of my favorite things from the past month with you, ranging from clothing, accessories, and beauty items to home goods, multi-media picks, and food.
All image sources that are not originally my own photos are from the links provided below. Clothes & Accessories
❊ Pink Blush Navy Crochet Accent Tie Front Maternity Dress* – I receive compliments every single time I wear this dress. It is cute, flattering, and, best of all, super comfortable. Yes, it’s technically a maternity dress, but I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this well after Baby Girl is born.
❊ Pink Blush Peach Eyelet Lace Maternity Tank Top – This easy breezy maternity top has been another staple in my wardrobe this summer. I love the eyelet lace overlay. The peachy/coral color is perfect this time of year!
❊ Kate Spade Diana Sunglasses – I try not to share about discontinued items often, but sometimes the favorites vibes are so strong, I just have to! These Kate Spade sunnies are the perfect size and shape for my small face. I own them in both horn (brown) and black.
Beauty
❊ Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk – I switched up some of my skincare products when I became pregnant this past spring and have totally fallen in love with Juice Beauty. I use this cleanser every night. It is super gentle, but clearly effective as my skin hasn’t been in such good condition in years!
❊ Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream – Another tried and true favorite of mine from the Juice Beauty range is this CC cream, which I use in place of a daytime moisturizer. It provides just enough coverage to even out my skin tone. I love that it has SPF 30 for added protection.
❊ Juice Beauty Nutrient Moisturizer – I’ve also been using this ultra rich moisturizer from the Juice Beauty line at night for the past few months. It’s super thick, but sinks nicely into the skin. I’ve needed a bit more hydration than I normally do in the summer months this year and this moisturizer fits the bill perfectly!
❊ Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Léché – I purchased this lip crayon on a whim earlier this month and am so glad that I did because I am smitten! It’s the best of both worlds: a long lasting matte lip product combined that is very comfortable on the lips (read: not drying). Winner! The peachy nude color is my go-to late summer shade.
❊ Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in Honey – What’s a great lip crayon without an equally amazing lip gloss? I’m really enjoying Bite Beauty’s gloss formula, which is thick and long lasting without being terribly sticky. The honey shade is the perfect pale nude to pop on top of any lippie.
Home Goods Life Necessities
There weren’t any stand out home goods products I wanted to share this month, so I thought, instead, I’d talk about my renewed passion for planning in my Erin Condren Life Planner*. I’ve been using a Life Planner for the past couple of years primarily to keep on top of my posting schedule and all of the details surrounding my work. I also used a small binder style planner for my personal life and daily to-do’s. I stopped using both altogether late this past spring when we started traveling quite a bit. I realized my disinterest in planning was not because of our travel, but because my system was no longer working for me.
Fast forward to late July when I decided I really wanted to start planning again, but in a new way. I decided to just use my Life Planner and dip my toes in the planner sticker craze I’ve been following via my favorite Planner Enthusiasts on Instagram and YouTube. I purchased a custom monthly kit and a few cute extras and went for it. I am absolutely loving planning in this way! Having just one planner for both work and personal makes sense to me right now and the stickers add a fun organizational and decorative element I was lacking before.
Let me know if you’d like to see monthly planner spread updates as well as an occasional sticker haul and or Plan With Me style video 🙂
Since then, I’ve accumulated a nice collection of stickers from Etsy, some of which have been generously gifted to me (marked with an asterisk). Here is a list of the sticker shops I’ve used over the past month. Each shop owner very generously provided a coupon code in case you’re interested in shopping as well!

❊ Twice As Nice Lettering – Save 10% with code JENNIFER / Expires September 25, 2015

I’m also completely smitten with the sweet planner charms and bookmarks from Peach Pom. See that little yellow ball sticking up from my planner in the picture above? It’s the perfect page marker! Peach Pom also generously provided a discount code if you’re interested: Save 15% with code PRETTYNEAT / Expires September 30, 2015. Bonus – her packaging is gorgeous!

Multi-Media
❊ I Love Lucy Season 1 – We didn’t watch a lot of tv at the Utah house, since it’s so nice to sit and watch the sunset on the front porch instead, but on the few occasions we did, I really enjoyed I Love Lucy episodes. Even though the show is from the early 50’s, it retains its classic humor. There’s nothing quite like watching Lucy and her shenanigans! It’s truly timeless.
❊ Lady Antebellum – I’ve been listening to my two favorite Lady Antebellum albums, Own the Night and Need You Now, on repeat in my car all month. I’m personally a fan of this kind of country music, which is a bit more on the pop side of the spectrum.
❊ My Harto – I discovered Hannah’s YouTube channel through the funny collaboration she did with one of my long-time favorites, Ingrid Nelson. I instantly became hooked! Hannah’s My Drunk Kitchen episodes are right up my alley, chockablock full of puns. You know how much I love a good (or bad) pun!
❊ Mint Arrow – My blog pick of the month is Corrine’s amazing deal sharing. Not only does she provide information on great sales, she also gives excellent advice, recommendations, and personal picks. I am absolutely loving her baby gear reviews, especially her newly updated Baby Registry list. It encompasses everything from pregnancy to birth to helpful items for the first 6-12 months.
Tasty Treats
It’s all about fresh apples this month. US-farmed organic apples are back on the shelves and I couldn’t be happier! I look forward to this every year as we transition into fall. I usually have one a day. Some of my favorite varieties include Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, and Fuji. Yum! What are your favorite kinds of apples?
