I’m back with an Ipsy update! If you’re unfamiliar, Ipsy is a monthly subscription service where you receive between 4 to 5 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products for $10 per month (this includes shipping within the US. Ipsy also ships to Canada for an extra $4.95 per month).
The June Ipsy bag theme is Pretty In Paradise. The picture of the surfer gal leads me to believe this is a beach themed beauty bag, although when looking at the products it seems more like a “summer staples” sort of theme to me. I do love the cute Rebecca Minkoff bag!
What’s in my June Ipsy bag?
✻ Realtree For Her Eau de Parfum – This perfume’s scent description is rather detailed: “…opens up with the sweet taste of pomegranate, a hint of persimmon and an exotic scent of orchids. It blends with lotus blossom and champaca flower and it’s followed by the rich scent of amber, the transient scent of violets and the depth of mahogany wood.” To me, it smells very bright and a bit fruity.
✻ Nyx Butter Gloss – I love the Butter Gloss formula and was very excited to see the Crème Brûlée shade in my bag. This light, natural pink is perfect year round! I have a couple of different shades in my stash already. The formula is long-lasting without being overly tacky, which I like.
✻ Be A Bombshell Lash Out Mascara – It’s always fun to try out new mascaras! This one is marketed as “lengthening.” We’ll see if the non-waterproof formula holds up to my oily skin!
✻ Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray – As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, beach sprays don’t usually work in my baby fine hair, but it’s always worth a try. You never know! Plus, this one smells amazingly like piña coladas!
✻ Ofra Universal Eyebrow Pencil – This eyebrow pencil shade is supposed to “suit all skin tones,” but it seems a bit dark to me to suit all eyebrow hair shades. Nevertheless, it might just work for my dark brows and I will definitely give it, and all of the other products in this bag, a try!

I will be back next month with my thoughts on the June bag as well as a look at July’s goodies. I’d love to know what you got in your June Ipsy bag if you are a subscriber as well!
