Fortune Cookie Soap Box | Winter 2015

I absolutely love opening my quarterly FCS Soap Box!  If you’re not familiar, FCS stands for Fortune Cookie Soap, which is a handmade soap and body products company.  The FCS Soap Box is a quarterly subscription service that includes sample sizes of upcoming seasonal releases and it is Fun, Fun, Fun!  If you love trying new and unique bath and body products then this box is for you!

The winter box theme is based on the Christmas classic chuckler, Elf.  It includes eight winter inspired scented bath and body products with a holiday twist based on the Elf movie and the signature FCS laugh out loud descriptions.

Buddy Fortune Cookie Soap | Swirly Twirly Gum Drops OCD Hand Sanitizer | World’s Best Cup of Coffee Whipped Cream | Shower Duet Shave Oil | FCS Cheer Perfume Oil | Yellow Snow Bath Bomb | Christmas Gram Face Plant | Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins Dry Shampoo

I share my initial impressions and closeup shots of each product in my coordinating open box video:

This is one of my favorite soap boxes in recent history.  I just love the Elf theme!  I’ll be back with a look at my next FCS Soap Box in three months.  In the meantime, I recommend checking out the Fortune Cookie Soap website to peruse all of their fun products.  The winter line launches Friday, November 13, 2015.  Receive $5 off your first $30+ FCS purchase by clicking here!

  2. Great review. So Sad I didn’t get this box. It looks great! My debit card expired and was replaced and I didn’t update on the site in time 🙁

  3. Hi there Jen! I hope that you had a great time off during your vacation! I stumbled upon your “I Heart Fall Tag!” video from October 2012, and I decided to write my own version in blog form! I was seriously hoping that you would mind reading it and writing me a comment on my blog post? I also have some questions for you:
    1. One of my new series on my blog is talking about my favourite inspirations and my first one will be all about my favourite YouTubers. You’re one of my favourites, and I was wondering if I can give you a shout-out?
    2. I opened a YouTube channel in late 2014, and I’ve spent the last year contemplating what type of videos/topics to talk about on my channel and I have absolutely no idea what to do or where to start! I would like to reflect my blog’s topics, but I don’t know if it’s an okay thing to do… Do you have any advice?
    3. What was the best way for you to spread the word about your blog, YouTube channel and social media?
    4. What’s your best advice for explaining to family members about blogging and YouTube? Most of my cousins think that it’s pretty cool, and the rest of my family is completely clueless!
Thank you for answering my questions! 🙂
    Kate

  4. I picked one item, per request, but, I was excited by almost every product!! Never would have even considered this, but, now I can’t wait!! You can really sell Jen! Blessings & joy! 💙😘

  5. Oh I do really love your open box videos. I am not sure why, however I like to see you having fun with the products and beeing excited about the products inside. 🙂

  6. Hi Jen,

Could you consider doing a video on how you organize your receipts.
    IE:
    How long you keep them.
How you place them in your purse.
How you reconcile with your credit cards.
What you do with them when you get home.
And maybe how you keep track of your spending, in general……

    Just a thought.

    Thank you.

    🙂

    1. I now only keep receipts of items I might return and only then for about a month of two in a little plastic sleeve that I store in my desk. Nothing fancy! I never keep receipts in my purse, it drives me nuts 😉

  7. I am glued to their website. Wonderful gift for stocking stuffers! My best friends and I have our own Christmas gift giving get together and this will make an awesome gift for them, they LOVE the Elf movie. Thanks for posting this.
