Wowee, we’ve had quite the busy weekend! We’re in full blown holiday mode over here. There was a little breather between holiday events late last week where we had some really lovely down time at home. I absolutely love all of the outings and family traditions that the season brings, but there’s a beautiful balance in spending quiet quality time at home.
Donny received a packet of hot chocolate in a little gift bag which I jazzed up by whisking it into some warm oat milk and adding in a spoonful of “the good stuff” (aka Divine Chocolate Drinking Chocolate). The kids enjoyed it on their little loveseat while watching a Mickey Christmas program. It was a cozy magical moment and I soaked in every second of it.
I also completed the Day 13 spread in my December Daily album, but that is dedicated to something that happened at school last week and I do not share about school on any of my public platforms, so I won’t be including photos of that here. I got a little behind with all of the festivities this weekend and needing the time for other pursuits, but I am ok with being just a couple of days off current and hope to catch up next week. I know once the week of Christmas hits it will be difficult for me to get to the project so I am hoping to be all caught by and current by the weekend.
Did you do anything festive this weekend? It’s hard to believe Christmas is just 10 days away!
Take good care, friends ❤️
